Baked Apple Rings with Ice Cream

 

Ingredients for 10 Baked Apple Rings:

300

flour

200

ml

milk

3

eggs

3

tbsp

sugar

½

tsp

cinnamon

1

pinch

salt

3

apples

vanilla icecream

some

chocolate sauce

3-4

tbsp

sugar mixed with cinnamon (to besprinkle)

some

oil or margarine

Baked Apple Rings with Ice Cream

 

Directions:

  1. Whip eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add flour, milk, salt and cinnamon and mix it.
  3. Peel apples and core them with a corer.
  4. Cut apples into 1,5 cm slices.
  5. Heat oil or maragarine in a pan.
  6. Dip each apple ring in batter and fry in oil until golden brown
    and crisp on both sides.
  7. Remove with a fork and drain on paper towel.
  8. Serve apple rings with sugar and cinnamon (1 tbsp sugar with a
    pinch of cinnamon for 3-4 apple rings) and a ball of vanilla icecream
    and some chocolate sauce.
