Lukewarm Weißwurstsalad (Bavarian Veal Sausage) with Pretzel-Croutons

Ingredients (for two persons)

   
2 Weißwürste (Bavarian Veal Sausages)
1 red or yellow pepper
2 tomatoes
1 gherkin
1 Pretzel
3 tsp sweet mustard
3 tsp liquid honey
3 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp olive oil
a little butter
a pinch of ground garlic
Weißwurstsalat
 

Directions

  1. Boil water in the pot, take it from the oven and put 'Weißwürste' into the pot. Then cook it on low heat.
  2. Wash tomatoes and cut it into six pices.
  3. Wash pepper, remove stem ends, seeds, and white membranes. Cut it into thin stripes.
  4. Cut gherkin into fine stripes.
  5. Stir sweet mustard, honey and lemon juice, then add olive oil and stir it again.
  6. Cut Pretzel into thin slices.
  7. Heat some butter in the pan and put the Brezn into it and brown the Pretzel a little bit.
  8. Put some ground garlic on the croutons.
  9. Skin the Weißwürste and cut it into 0,5 cm slices.
  10. Distribute tomatoes, pepper and gherkin on two plates.
  11. Stir salad dressing again and pour it over the salad.
  12. Put the slices of the Weißwürste on the salad.
  13. Then distribute the croutons over the salad.
