My name is Kirsten and I live close to Munich in Bavaria/Germany – in a very lovely small village near the Ammersee. Why I built up „Table Talks“? There's a simple answer: my greatest passions are cooking and writing. Where else can I combine both hobbies better than in the internet? Here I can let off steam...
Frankly speaking, I'm not a professional cook, but I am engaged in cooking and I love it. So I like to read cookery books (I think I have got more than hundred books in my kitchen) or cookery magazines and poke around in the Net for everything concerning with food, recipes and their backgrounds.
Moreover I cook and create here and there new recipes, I love to cook for friends and I love travelling to foreign countries - not only, but also to become acquainted with their cuisine and spices.
In terms of writing, it is different. This is my business. I have written articles, interviews, reports for newspapers and magazines, as well as screen-plays for tv-sketches, dossiers and moderations for radio- and tv-stations. And this knowledge - combined with my experience in investigation - flows into „Table Talks“, what might be helpful.
To cut it short: Besides delightful recipes you find here enjoyable stories, informative backgrounds, interesting news and helpful tips.
